Happiness & Bliss
Virtual Yoga Kula

Happiness & Bliss is an online yoga community where we can practice, meditate, establish our personal practices and  hold each other accountable to our deepest desires, all on our own time, from our own homes. Whether you have young children at home, live in a place without access to a studio, or simply want to develop your home practice with an experienced teacher, this is for you. Yoga, positive psychology, philosophical texts, and scientific research will inspire this ever-evolving catalogue of inspiration, self-study, and daily practices. Expect daily livestreamed classes via Zoom, and access to hundreds of pre-recorded content in our Happiness & Bliss Library.

"My life's calling is to shine the light of awareness on our natural inborn happiness by bringing together the teachings of positive psychology and yoga, both on and off the mat. Having taught classes & trainings for close to a decade, I thrive on contributing to the lives of others while deepening my own practice. I love teaching in person, but am thrilled to be launching an ONLINE STUDIO to study and practice together from the comfort and convenience of home. Having connected with thousands of yogis from all over the world, this platform helps us to remain connected with one another, broaden our social circuits, and do so uninhibited by geographical restraints.

ABOUT KARSON

Karson McGinley is the founder of Happy-U (a Holistic Approach to Positive Psychology & Yoga), which took up residence in Ocean Beach, San Diego for six years. As the owner of Happy-U Yoga (now Riffs Yoga Studio), Karson led twelve yoga teacher trainings, certifying over 150 teachers all over the world, in her unique blend of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Anusara Elements™ classes combined with principles of Positive Psychology. Feeling a call to have more flexibility and time with her family, Karson sold the brick-and-mortar studio in January of 2019 in favor of bringing her teachings online and starting a new retreat center where she can share her teachings and connect with students and teachers from all over the world.

Karson is a 500-RYT with Yoga Alliance, and has additional certifications in Prenatal Yoga, Anusara Elements, and is a Registered Continuing Education Provider. She trained with Robin Christ for her second 200-hr Anusara® certification, and earned her 300-hr Advance certification with Shraddha School of Yoga in Temecula, CA. Karson has appeared as a guest teacher at the Wanderlust Yoga Festival, Rancho La Puerta, and the Chopra Center, and was a two-time lululemon ambassador.

Her classes are inspired by the teachings of Classical & Tantrik yogic philosophy, positive psychology, and metaphysical texts like A Course in Miracles. You can currently practice in person with Karson at Riffs Yoga Studios, virtually in her online yoga community, Happiness & Bliss, and on retreat in Temecula. By sharing spiritual themes, scientific research, and anecdotal evidence, she makes the practice of authentic yoga accessible and relevant to everyone.

Karson lives in San Diego with her husband Mitch, and two children, Chase (6) & Siena (3).
